About this story
Before I picked up Web design, I really wanted to be a photographer.
But I found that I just couldn’t compete with my peers as they just got light years beyond where I was. Is that a cop out? Probably, but I’m happy as long as I’m close to journalism. Both the camera, the pen or the computer are all just tools to tell a story.
Anyways, I shot these photos on April 5, 2008 for the Daily Nebraskan, and they are still some of my personal favorites.
